Russia and Denmark discussed the development of cooperation in the field of agriculture and food industry
Copenhagen, 16th December. - The Russian-Danish online seminar DoingBusinessinRussia was held, dedicated to topical issues of trade and investment cooperation in agriculture and the food industry. The event was organized by the Russian-Danish Agro-Business Club (RDABC) with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia represented by the Russian Trade Representative Office in Denmark.
The Danish side of the event was partnered by the Danish Council for Agriculture and Food (www.agricultureandfood.dk), which is the largest socio-political organization representing the interests of the Danish agro-industrial sector, which employs about 200 thousand people. The association's members are the biggest companies and cooperatives in Denmark, annually exporting agricultural products, food and equipment worth about 20 billion euros, which is about a quarter of the country's total exports. Representatives of 40 Danish companies, including world industry leaders - ArlaFoods, ArlaFoodsIngredients, DLF and FOSS, attended the seminar.
During the event the participants discussed the situation and prospects of bilateral trade in the agricultural sector, the progress of projects of Danish companies in Russia. Russian experts spoke about the practice of state support for projects of foreign investors in the Moscow and Lipetsk regions, about the investment opportunities of the regions of Yenisei Siberia in the field of agriculture. The Danish participants were also informed about the advantages of localization in clusters, technoparks, special economic zones of Russia, about the latest trends in the field of customs administration and certification of food products in Russia.
In addition, within the framework of the seminar, a presentation was made of the possibilities of the Trade Representation of Russia in Denmark to assist in the development of business contacts between Russian and Danish businesses. In conclusion, the parties summed up the results of the work of the Agro-Business Club and identified priority areas of cooperation for 2022.

Export forum “Made in Russia - 2021” took place in Moscow
Moscow, 10th December. – The International Export forum "Made in Russia", organized by the Russian Export Center, was held at the World Trade Center. Representatives of government, development institutions, expert and business communities took part in the Forum. Serbia was the partner country of the event. Also at the forum, an exposition of export-oriented products was organized by more than 40 Russian companies operating in the field of industry, medicine, IT and agro-industrial complex. Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin and Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Serbia Ana Brnabic gave speeches during the plenary session of the Forum. Denis Manturov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation participated in the event.
According to Mikhail Mishustin, the Forum is the optimal platform for discussing urgent issues related to non-primary non-energy exports and reaching solutions that will help expand the geography and increase the flow of supplies of Russian goods and services to international markets.“An ambitious goal was set by the President of Russia – to ensure by 2030 an increase in exports of non-primary non-energy goods at least by 70%. We expect the increasing flow amount over 180 billion dollars; this will be the highest value in the last three years. The increase in exports exceeded the pace of world trade,
- stressed the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation.
The Prime Minister pointed out that an entrepreneurial initiative could become the main engine for increasing the share of Russian products in foreign trade, as a way to increase Russian exports of non-primary non-energy goods.
It is imperative that creation of conditions for increasing the sales of domestic industrial goods, ensuring the access of our enterprises to foreign markets, involving more entrepreneurs, primarily small and medium-sized businesses. A unified support system is necessary for industrial exporters. This system could adapt to the requirements of customers and make work in foreign directions easier and more convenient, as well as a set of measures to help companies they will receive at every stage of their development,

The Head of the Government of the Russian Federation stated the need to expand the instruments of financial support for entrepreneurs and the formation of a comfortable business environment. For such purposes, the digital platform "My Export" was launched last year. “My Export" is a system of online services for Russian businesses that help them to operate in foreign markets. Entrepreneurs literally receive qualified support around the clock. The government has made another decision. It will become much easier for exporters to license dual-use products, for which export control has been established. And the procedure is fully digitalized. From today, it will be possible to submit documents and then obtain a license in electronic form,
- The Prime Minister said.
Mikhail Mishustin also called on exporters to use the opportunities of economic integration within the framework of the EAEU, thanks to which common markets are created with freedom of movement of goods, services and investments, besides free trade zones operate.
At the end of the speech, the Head of the Government of the Russian Federation recalled that the winners of the All-Russian Award in the field of international cooperation and export "Exporter of the Year" were awarded today. This year, more than 1800 companies took part in it. This is a record number in the entire history of its holding.

Financing of investment projects in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous region discussed in Dubai
Dubai, 7th December. - The issues of financing investment projects in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous region-Yugra were discussed at the World Exhibition EXPO 2020. Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Alexey Besprozvannykh and governor of Yugra Natalia Komarova held negotiations with potential partners.
Governor Natalia Komarova and representatives of EurAsia Gulf considered issues of further cooperation, organization of business missions to the Autonomous region and the United Arab Emirates. The company helps enterprises, which are members of the Gulf Cooperation Council (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain) to establish ties with key markets in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
At a meeting with the adviser to the General Management of the Board of Directors of the Commercial Bank of Dubai Mohammed Suleiman and Director of the First Bank of Abu Dhabi Abdulaziz Alblushi deliberated over proposals for cooperation and financing of investment projects localized in Ugra.
The parties discussed issues of promoting the products of venture companies (Terra VC), Ugra manufacturers and agreed to create a working group on interaction, use of the bank's customer base after appropriate verification.
Investment development institutions in Ugra are a system. It complies with the new investment standard 2.0, adopted in Russia in October 2021. Since 2020, we have been actively using venture investments. So, last year we entered an investment partnership with the Terra VC venture fund. The volume of private investments in the creation of production facilities of potential residents will amount to at least 200$ million until 2026,
